Since there's not much interest, Feedseer will be sunset in a month or two. Thanks for trying it.

Feedseer upgrade at 9am PT. It should take < 1 hour.

Hi! I just published an introductory post on this.

I'm not sure what MRF is, but you are right about the http requests and scale. 😩 Do you have any suggestions?

I added price just to serve as a carrot for the future. But this is still just in the idea validation phase.

Hi, I'm running a modified instance of Mastodon that gives users the ability to filter out posts based on content. More details here I'd really appreciate it if you could please try out some qualifiers and let me know your thoughts. Thanks a lot!

Category analyzing qualifiers can now analyze content in URLs (text in those webpages, not just words in URLs :) in a toot.

Next up - images in toots.

Maintenance complete.

Upgraded to Mastodon v2.5.0.
Requested to connect with a relay server.

Feedseer will be down for maintenance from 9pm PT today. It should take around 1 hour.

Finally finished my two blog posts on why I’m weaning myself away from Twitter in favour of Mastodon:

What’s wrong with Twitter?

What is Mastodon and why should I use it?

Just found out about to connect Twitter account with mastodon. Will try it out after the long weekend.

Really enjoying this GitHub discussion on the pros and cons of adding a "local-only" privacy option for toots:
